This film, which i found quite difficult to watch at times was the harsh reality of youngsters in this generation. The film touched upon various issues such as puberty and sex, unsafe sex, binge drinking, shoplifting and also irresponsibility. I 
think all these issues happen in our world now, as many teenagers are going out and having sex with girls who haven't even gone through the whole stage of puberty in their life. The young boys in the film such as Telly, showed how they don't even question their actions or think twice about what they are doing and not only to the girls but also themselves, as Telly had already caught aids.

I think this film also shows the pressure for kids to grow up, as they are thrown into adulthood by the media. The most shocking but realistic scene of it all was how parents don't show much responsibility or act as good role model for their children, as Telly's mother was smoking whilst breast feeding her child! So this film also raises the importance of how parents need to start acting more responsibly.
As this film had an 18 certificate, it is largely aimed at the adult audience but i think that parents who watched this film would actually brush it aside and think that they don't have to to talk to their children about these issues.
